What Are YOUR FAVE FIVE????

Okay, I’m updating the ‘ole iPod so I can go exercise so I don’t gain 50 pounds during this pregnancy!! LOL!  This is not a new year’s resolution.  It’s just that I had lost part of my iPod exercise chip thing and just got it back in a Christmas present.  I can’t seem to exercise without the iPod telling me how long I’ve gone and how much longer I have to go.  I LOVE that feature!

Another drawback I’ve had in getting going is that I’ve had to re-download all of our CD’s.  I had them all organized and on my iPod before our computer crashed.  BTW, if you only have non-purchased songs saved to your iPod and there isn’t a back-up somewhere, you cannot transfer them to another computer if the first one crashed or is no longer available to you.  I don’t know if that sentence makes sense… moral of the story, back up your iTunes library somewhere other than just your iPod.  You all are probably better than me on that.

So, I’m listening to a lot of music, checking out how I’m going to use my iTunes gift card, etc.  SO, I thought it’d be fun to see what YOU are loving music-wise?  What are your favorite CD’s/songs/artists right now?  They can be exercise or non-exercise…  Tell me your top five favorite downloads recently OR the 5 most listened to songs in your library…  If you want, do a workout list and just regular list too.  I really want good, pure songs on my workout list as well, but sometimes it’s hard.  I have a few that I certainly tune out the words of and listen only to the beat if they aren’t too raunchy.

So many from which to choose. Off the top of my head:
    1. Bubbly by Colbie Caillat (the whole Coco album is excellent)
    2. Who Knew by Pink
    3. More Than a Memory by Garth Brooks
    4. As If by Sara Evans
    5. Hey There Delilah by Plain White T’s

Have fun re-building your collection :-)

I’ll have to ask Jason the names of the songs I love b/c he loads my ipod! :) I love that song Cable Car, Over my Head and we’ve just started listening to Matthew West and really like him! My ipod is hillarious it goes straight from Chris Tomlin, to Cheetah Girls, to Bon Jovi and then David Crowder. That’s what I get for marrying a music fanatic!

    Hmm…

You’ll have to start liking Tracy Bonham, Metallica, The Breeders, and Stone Temple Pilots if you want to know what I’m listening to. More can be seen here:

I do have an exercise playlist: some of my faves that I can remember:
    Give You Glory- Jeremy Camp
    Mighty to Save- Hillsong
    Broadcast- Steve Fee

I also listen to a lot of the music we use at church with the kids, but it’s not on iTunes. Rethink group produces the CDs.

And, I like a good podcast when I exercise:
The Church at Brookhills in Birmingham, AL- pastor there is fabulous.

And our church, since I miss the service most of the time- TBCLife

And your former pastor- Ed Young, Jr.

And yes, I do remember that New Years! This year, we watched the ball drop at 11p, went to bed, only to be awakened by fireworks around the neighborhood at midnight.

Thanks for all the suggestions! KEEP THEM COMING!!!

Maury, how do you know I don’t like those? Like Ashley, my selections are quite varied! I have a lot of “old” music from the 80’s too. To name a few and show my strange assortment – All American Rejects, Counting Crows, Black Eyed Peas, Cranberries, David Crowder, Foreigner, Green Day, KJ52, John Mayer, Madonna, Mercy Me, Nickleback, Pivitplex, RHCP, REO Speedwagon, Sarah McLachlan, Skillet, Steve Miller Band, Tree 63, U2, and even some White Lion and Whitesnake from back in the day. Odd, odd collection. I’ve gotta get the CD’s from Jason’s car which are our newer Christian songs and THEN download whatever “new” music I want! So, I’m pretty varied!

I like working out to Toby Mac. Usually has a great beat and makes me feel all tough and stuff.

I just downloaded Clumsy by Fergie. It’s a really unique song and really gets you addicted to it!
