Why do we care about that? And now all the focus on the prostitute that the governor was with. . . I mean seriously. I used to be the abstinence educator for the Crisis Pregnancy Center here in Hville. I spoke at all the middle and high schools and a number of churches. I am PASSIONATE about abstinence education. When we set the standard any lower they will hit it every time! We have to set the bar high and EXPECT them to reach it. Someone has to believe in these kids and believe that they can practice self-control - christians or not! I could go on and on. . . but I can feel my blood pressure rising and my face is getting hot! What was so funny is that during that report I was thinking about the messages our kids are getting from everywhere about sexuality and what makes them valuable (in the world's eyes)...that those are the cause of so many girls having sex so young.
